Welcome to the world of living wreaths, table decorations and special designs. Now you can create the beautiful ambiance of the desert indoors with Desert Succulent Creations.

At our nursery in Claremont, California we grow the most beautiful and exotic succulents we can find as well as some of the most common. We take great pride in fashioning these sometimes bizarre but always breathtaking forms and colors into exquisite, one-of-a-kind arrangements.

Desert Succulent Creations actually began by making Christmas wreaths. We now make wreaths in several sizes and for all seasons. Order early to specify the color of bow and decoration, especially for Christmas and Thanksgiving.

We also make table wreaths which can be ordered with or without a candle or hurricane lamp in the center. As with all Desert Succulent Creations, the individual cuttings may be planted after the season passes for months, even years, of continued beauty.

Table Centerpieces: We feature several stand-alone arrangements that can be displayed in your home or office. They may also be displayed in lobbies, reception areas and individual hotel or motel rooms or on restaurant tables.

While there are some limitations due to the heavier nature of succulent stems and leaves, these can remarkably mimic traditional arrangements or showcase their own unique characteristics for guest to ponder while waiting in the lobby or at the restaurant table.

Mini Arrangements: Individual place holders, party favors and small momentos make excellent give-aways for conventions. These can consist of cuttings or, if given enough advance notice, be composed of rooted plants.

Custom Designs

Centerpices for Catered Events: We offer any of the standard containers florists use, but since our arrangements are not water-dependent, we also collect and warehouse unusual containers and ornaments. Weddings especially lend themselves to our wide selection of natural shell containers, which can be pared with individual shell place holders.

We do custom designs tailored to your specific needs and requests.

Our Desert Succulent Creations have several advantages over traditional bouquets:

• Uniqueness The shapes, texture, and colors are sure to fascinate people of all ages. An interesting conversation piece, they will have everyone wondering if they are real.

• Low maintenance We guarantee form and color for four weeks with no need to watering --adverse conditions often bring our most vibrant colors in these special plants.

• Organic and non-allergenic We carefully choose varieties that will not prick or otherwise irritate your skin when touched. If fragrance is desired, consider adding scented candles.

• A renewable resource We offer two alternatives to simply discarding the arrangements. One, we have special discounts if we pick up and reuse the arrangement of cuttings for our Claremont nursery. Two, we can leave instructions on how to plant and grow these afterwards -- a great idea for wedding party favors or company give-aways.

• Economy Because succulents have to be replaced only once a month, they are less expensive than cut flowers.
